Recently, the column of "Front-line Collection of Style" on the portal website of the Ministry of Education, with the title of "CCNU Creates ‘Three Ideological and Political Courses’ and Promotes the Collaborative Education of Ideological and Political and Aesthetic Education", reported and promoted the relevant measures of the collaborative education of ideological and political and aesthetic education in our School of Fine Arts. It was reported that, CCNU deeply learned and carried out Xi Jinping’s important remarks on education, tightly surrounded the fundamental task on strengthening moral education and cultivating people, and guided by Socialist Core Values, CCNU persisted in cultivating people with aesthetic education and touching people with culture, constructed the moral education system with aesthetic education as the guide, focused on building “A People-centered Theme Creation Class”, “Ideological and Political Courses on the Nib”, “The Walking Ideological and Political Courses”, and formed a collaborative education model of "ideological and political + aesthetic education", which was synthetic counterparts, mutual accommodation and co-construction and sharing, and CCNU was making efforts to improve the effectiveness of education.

According to the report, the School of Fine Arts in CCNU strengthened guidance, worked together to extend the connotation of aesthetic education in ideological and political education; enriched the carrier of aesthetic education in ideological and political education by making culture construction the basis and the mutual accommodation, and expanded the practice of aesthetic education in ideological and political education with integrate resources and co-construction and sharing.

Strengthen guidance, and work together to extend the connotation of aesthetic education in ideological and political education. The “People-centered Theme Creation Class” stuck to time and ideological leading orientation, actively responded to the new requirements of ideological and political education which were put forward by colleges and universities, guided young students to respond to time concerns, conform to trace time in the visual form, deeply took root in people's life, found and felt the beauty of the characters, the beauty of development and the beauty of the time in the socialist modernization construction. CCNU would continue to carry out the Red Gene Leading Project, firmly grasp the "Three Voyages" of the Party members, mentors and peers, and give voice to the aspirations of students at important time points. During the NPC and CPPCC sessions in 2020, students were guided to focus on hot issues in the new era and develop heated discussions, and create a series of comics called "Little Beauty and Little Art See the 'NPC and CPPCC'". During the epidemic period, CCNU immediately issued a brush-battle call, taking “Express by Pictures, Unite by Paintings”, created Tell the Story of Heroes against Epidemic by Paintings, and made a cartoon video of a tribute to the youth fighting the epidemic with the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the May 4th Movement. Aesthetic education courses have been opened for all teachers and students in the school to promote the organic combination of ideological and political courses and curriculum ideology, so as to cultivate students' aesthetic taste and creative abilities.
