Recently, the Conscription Office of Jianghan District People's Government of Wuhan City, Hubei Province notified the recognition of advanced units and advanced individuals in the conscription work of colleges and universities in 2020. Our university was awarded the honorary title of " Advanced Unit of Conscription Work " in 2020 because of the outstanding achievement of conscription work, and Comrade Lv Jianping of the Student Work Department of the Party Committee (People's Armed Forces Department) of our university was awarded the title of "Advanced Individual of Conscription Work" in 2020 because of his dedication to conscription work.
In 2020, affected by the epidemic, the national conscription work plan had been adjusted accordingly. CCNU took multiple measures to do the recruitment work of college students under the epidemic effectively, put the recruitment work of college students in a prominent position, steadily promoted the recruitment work of college students under the epidemic through various ways such as strengthening propaganda, giving typical education and providing considerate and meticulous recruitment services, and completed the task of recruitment work to a high standard.
Our school reacted quickly to the new plan, collected and organized the information related to college student recruitment at the first time, and did a good job of classifying and integrating the information, and implemented the relevant documents of the school, and sent them to all departments, colleges, majors and grades of the university in time, so as to achieve four levels of linkage. At the same time, special channels were opened to publicize and promote the information, so as to achieve the timeliness, linkage and diversity of conscription information promotion. Using the school's official network and new media, the university launched a series of "My 2020" special reports, which not only publicized and displayed the deeds of the "CCNU in the fight against epidemic", but also showed the nerve of the students who joined the military in the school in a multi-dimensional manner. The typical deeds of these enlisted students provide a model for the school's recruitment propaganda and create a good recruitment atmosphere.
Our school is student-oriented and has set up a recruitment counseling service team, using the online QQ group to provide the most timely information and counseling for students who wish to join the military and do a good job in recruitment services. For the medical examination work of conscript students, our school has made a complete plan around the time of medical examination about some precautions and preparation for returning to school and other aspects, in order to fully ensure the safety of conscript students returning to school, and provide students with "one-stop" medical examination security services, so as to do a good job of conscript medical examination work.
In 2020, 17 students in CCNU applied for conscription, and through medical examination and political examination, 7 students were drafted into the army, with a pass rate of 41%, successfully completing the task of conscription this year. 2021, in the face of the new situation, new changes and new requirements of conscription work, our university will focus on the conscription on graduates, deeply promote the reform and innovation of conscription work and sustainable development, and continuously optimize and improve the conscription and strive to make new and greater contributions to serve national defense and military modernization.
