On the morning of July 20, aimed at conducting the research practice and consoling members of the national condition study and practice team for party members who had been volunteered to teach students, paint the cultural walls and conduct village researches, Zhang Mingsheng, secretary of party committee of the College of Physical Science and Technology, and Ma Ying, vice secretary of party committee of the college went to Yijiadi Village of Liushanhu Town in Chibi City, and exchanged views with Liu Fuhua, commissary in charge of organization, deputy mayor and secretary of the Youth League Committee of Liushanhu Town, and Wu Yiyuan, secretary of the party branch of Yijiadi Village, on the cooperation between the university and the town.
At about 10 o 'clock in the morning, Zhang Mingsheng and Ma Ying, accompanied by Gao Yuqian, the instructor of the practice team, inspected the teaching situation of the practice team. At that moment, Zhang Hao, a member of the practice team, was giving a class on Material Classification to more than 40 children from "Hope Home". Zhang Mingsheng and Ma Ying stopped outside the door to watch the process of the course. Zhang Mingsheng asked about the age distribution and learning situation of the students and encouraged the students to listen carefully in class, hoping the practice team members to prepare lessons with all their heart as well as according to the interests and characteristics of the village children to carry out a variety of forms of classroom teaching.
Next, Zhang Mingsheng and Ma Ying learned about the life conditions of the team members. One of the team members, Jiang Rao, who was cooling for members of the practice team, said, she made great progress in a few days of practice, learned how to cook and how to work together here. She expressed that although every meal was very simple here, they always had every meal extremely happily perhaps because it was the result of their own labor. The village leaders were also very concerned about the members and treated them as if they were their own children.
After that, they went to the team members’ lodging room. There, Zhang Mingsheng, Ma Ying, Liu Fuhua and Wu Yiyuan had a cordial talk. Zhang Mingsheng and Ma Ying first learned about the economic development of Liushanhu Town. Liushanhu Town of Chidi City mainly relies on grape planting and the mode of lobster and rice co-cultivation to achieve economic income. When the grapes are ripe and the lobsters are grown, there will be purchasers to buy them. Nearby, there is a crayfish processing plant that can process the remaining lobsters. Liu Fuhua said the town was a migrant town and hoped to turn it into a tourism and culture demonstration town. Gao Yuqian, the instructor of the practice team, reviewed and summarized the development process and achievements of the ten-year cooperation between the College of Physical Science and Technology and the practice base of Liushanhu Town, and said that the practice team would continue to retain the traditional projects and actively contribute to the construction of the new countryside of Liushanhu Town. Talking about the future cooperation work plan, Liu Fuhua hoped to take the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party as an opportunity to increase the contents of the party history in the teaching, so that the young children in Liushanhu Town could grow up to be qualified socialist successors under the glow of the party history.
