Written Examination of the Preliminary Contest
At 9:00 a.m. on May 18, 31 contestants took part in the written examination of the preliminary contest of the Counselor Quality and Ability Competition at 403 College Student Activity Center. The written examination questions included single choice questions, indefinite choice questions, short answer questions, countermeasure analysis questions and writing questions. The test contents included the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important speeches, the contents of important documents issued by the Central Committee and the Ministry of Education, and the relevant theoretical and practical knowledge of ideological and political education.

At 14:00 p.m. on May 18, 31 contestants were divided into two groups to have a preliminary heart-to-heart talk competition in 403 of the College Student Activity Center and the studio on the fifth floor. Each contestant drew questions 10 minutes in advance and had a heart-to-heart talk with students on the spot. It mainly examined the counselors' understanding of the characteristics of the students and the regulations of their growth and success, as well as their ability to guide the students’ education and solve theoretical puzzles and practical problems.

At 14:30 on the afternoon of June 1, the final contest of the Counselor Quality and Ability Competition was held in the Lecture Hall on the first floor of the Science Hall. The 10 finalists competed fiercely in the two competition links of following the clue to search methods and carrying Case Studies. Finally, Chen Diming, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the university, made a speech. He highly affirmed the excellent performance of the finalists, emphasized the importance of holding the counselor quality and ability competition , deeply analyzed the relationship between the counselor quality and ability competition and the national college counselor annual person selection and the most beautiful college counselor selection activities, and discussed how to become an excellent college counselor. He put forward three expectations for all the counselors of the school: First, it is continuous learning.
