The voice of CCNU-On the morning of March 28th, the special sports activity of 2021 entitled "Getting Together at the Attractive Sports Meeting, Celebrating the Hundredth Anniversary of the Communist Party of China" arranged by the Center of Culture and Sports of the School of Marxism was held in the playground of Youming Gymnasium. The activity aimed to stimulate students' enthusiasm for sports and cultivate students’spirit of unity and cooperation of the School of Marxism. A total of 80 students participated in the activity.
In the first round of the paired points competition, all groups worked together to achieve good results in the game. In the game of one-minute shuttlecock kicking, Yang Xiaoqing of the sixth group and Wang Xiaoyu of the second group performed well. Each of them played nearly 30 shuttlecock kicks, winning the decisive edge for their groups. In the game of sticking“nose”for the clown, the seemingly simple game of sticking“nose”actually tested challengers’tacit understanding very much. In the second group, Cheng Guangyu carried Mengling and strided forward with vigorous steps. With the guidance of Cheng Guangyu, Xiang Mengling stretched her hand precisely and sticked the magnet firmly to the“nose”of the portrait.
The second round of the relay race was even more wonderful. This round of the game was composed of four parts: rickshaw, back-to-back hug, paired rope skipping and three-legged race. In the game of rickshaw, Wang Xiaoyu and Li Hui of the second group were both agile. They advanced quickly at the same frequency, one after the other, and rushed to the terminal point at the fastest speed. After the game of rickshaw, Wang Xiaoyu reacted quickly, carried Cheng Guangyu on his back and advanced without striking a blow. His race against the clock for victory won the cheers of the whole team. In the game of three-legged race, Zhao Jing and Wang Jiao of the fifth group advanced at the same frequency, cooperated wonderfully, held their hands, counted "one, two, one" in their mouth and rushed to the terminal point at a constant speed. The wonderful performance of the contestants and the cheers of the teammates all showed the youth and vitality of the students of the School of Marxism.
The activity which lasted for nearly two hours benefited the participants a lot. Zhao Yating of grade 2020 believed that participating in this special sports activity not only enriched the weekend, but also made the members of the League and Student Union get closer to each other. Hu Shuxia of grade 2020 felt the warm friendship with the teammates in the activity. She said: "In the first round of shuttlecock kicking, my teammates cheered and yelled all the time, which made me feel the joy of doing sports and the spirit of unity in the group. The game items were diverse and interesting as well. I would still be willing to sign up to participate in such activities next time.
The special sports activity not only enriched the after-school life of students of the School of Marxism, but also made them get to know each other in the game and get closer to each other. More importantly, the activity let the participants take physical exercise while happily playing and stimulated the enthusiasm of the students of the School of Marxism to participate in sports activities.
