In the afternoon of March 28th, annual Chinese Communist Party Conference of 2021 of School of Political Communication was held in the Gaoyuan academy, which aimed to popularize the spirit that was stressed in the speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping in the conference for party history study and education mobilization, and simultaneously, improve the political ideological quality of the memberships. This meeting was hosted by the Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Xue Xiaoyan, and it contained several parts which included thematic learning, exams for the candidates of the memberships, the plans for 2021 and the summary.
This event began with the introduction of its process given by Xue Xiaoyan. Afterwards, the members from the 5th group of the party branch made a lecture of the history of Chinese Communist Party as well as the “Two Sessions”. The main task for the first theme was the study of the spirit that was stressed in the speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping in the conference for party history study and education mobilization as well as the speech given by Zhao Lingyun. Besides, the participants also read the books about the history of the Chinese Communist Party carefully. Then, the interpreters from the 5th group played some videos about the spirit, which intended to attract the learners. After this lecture, 2 participants, Wang Mingdong and Liu Kangkang, shared their own perspectives. They said that in the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, we ought to learn not only the achievements that we have already obtained, but also remember where we start, so that our work would be accomplished.
After the learning part, 9 participants used the PPTs to illustrate their gains as candidates for a year from different angles, for instance, the study, researching and farewell. They indicated that as candidates, they not only have enhanced their recognition for the CCP, but they would also strengthen their capability, make self-improvement and draw closer to the party in both action and mind in the future. After their statements, the official members asked some questions about the advanced ideology to them and motivated them to promote themselves in both theory and practice.
Eventually, Xue Xiaoyan demonstrated the plans of arrangement for the next year. She pointed out that there would be various activities in the future, which include the celebration for the 100thanniversery of the founding of the CCP, singing competitions, recital contests, the forum for political communication as well as the English speech competitions. She said, a good platform has been provided by School of Political Communication, and she hoped that everyone could participate actively, in order to show and enhance themselves, meanwhile, contribute themselves to the construction of the CCP.
