In order to cultivate the patriotism feelings of students in poor areas, implement the education policy of comprehensive development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and labor, enrich the teaching curriculum activities, and promote the exchange between teachers and students, the Light Chasing Practice Team of the School of Information Management of Central China Normal University offers quality development courses. Taking music and physical education classes as the carrier, they integrates patriotism education into the classroom, implements the teaching policy of "five education in one" from "aesthetic education" and "physical education", and promotes the overall development of students.
Luo Huiting explains music theory to students
In the music class, Light Chasing Practice Team members Luo Huiting and Cheng Yuanwei explained basic music theory to the students and led them to read short scores and recognize notes. Both team members chose ancient poems as the repertoire for the lessons, integrating traditional culture into the class. Along with the beautiful songs of "Prelude to Water Melody" and "Moss", the students were enthusiastic and actively participated in the chorus, learning the songs and increasing their poetry reserves at the same time. Cheng Yuanwei and Luo Huiting taught the songs, and the children sang along with each other in tune. The beautiful notes jumped on the children's tongues, and the songs floated out of the classroom and echoed in their ears. In order to deepen the students' understanding of poetry, Cheng Yuanwei also introduced the life of poet Su Shi and other representative works to the students. Some students raised the question of "Who are the Eight Great Poets of Tang and Song", and Cheng Yuanwei patiently answered them and popularized the cultural knowledge for them.
Liu Keyu explains patriotism education
Patriotism is the core of the Chinese national spirit and a banner of unity and struggle of the Chinese nation. The team learned that most of the children were rarely introduced to patriotism education, did not know that the national anthem is "March of the Volunteers", and did not know the meaning of raising the national flag and so on. In response to the students' lack of knowledge about the national flag and national anthem, Yang Tianzhuo and Liu Keyu popularized the history and origin of the national flag and national anthem, and told them that as elementary school students, they should love and protect the national flag, understand the laws related to the national flag, and understand the occasions when the national anthem should be sung. The team insisted on patriotism education as the main theme, implemented the task of ideological and political education for children, and helped to promote the development of patriotism education in primary and secondary schools in a deeper direction.
During the physical education class Zhang Weihan and Wu Yuwei arrived at the activity site early, prepared shuttlecocks, skipping rope and other tools, and did safety work for the students. Under the leadership of the senior students, the junior students gradually mastered the skills and the children enjoyed the PE class in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Physical education exercises physical fitness, sports harvest happiness. Fun sports activities such as jumping rope and playing shuttlecock are good for strengthening physical fitness, cultivating students' interest in sports and forming good mental qualities.
