On the afternoon of July 27, the Party secretary Zhao Lingyun and the deputy secretary Chen Diming led a team to Sanhegou Village, Jiaoyuan Town, Xuanen county to cordially visit the 10 graduate students of our college who carried out social work practice in Xuanen County, and met with Liu Hongyan, deputy secretary of Xuanen County Party committee, Li Mingran, vice chairman of CPPCC of Xuanen County, and Xuanen County Rural Revitalization Bureau, Education Bureau, Jiaoyuan Town Relevant personnel of sanhegou village had a discussion with our interns.
Secretary Zhao fully affirmed the efforts and actions of the students to use the summer vacation to serve the National Rural Revitalization Strategy, give full play to the professional advantages of social work and promote the innovation of grass-roots social governance. He hoped that the teachers and students of the college would continue their efforts and make new contributions to the local rural revitalization. During the visit, deputy secretary Chen Diming presented condolences to the interns on behalf of the school. Relevant functional departments of the school and principals of our college participated in the activities.
In December last year, our college cooperated with Xuanen County People's government to establish a social work education practice base. The base aims to promote the college's talent training and scientific research, focus more on grass-roots practice, and simultaneously help Xuanen explore the innovative path of Rural Revitalization on the basis of the successful conclusion of poverty alleviation. At present, our interns are assisting the project headquarters to carry out work under the leadership of the Rural Revitalization bureau around the "living water plan" public welfare project of Xuanen County in 2021. In the next step, they will go deep into the village to assist the children's director to carry out social work practice and provide professional support for the establishment and improvement of the local child protection system.
