On the morning of August 1, the Mandarin knowledge publicity activity organized by Xinhuo practice team was carried out on time at the village committee of Rongchun village. Considering the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, this activity was the last offline popularization activity of the practice team. After the querying and screening of northeast dialect and Mandarin knowledge in the early stage, spark practice team sorted out and printed out paper materials, and produced popularization PPT according to the knowledge reserve. The lecture mainly introduced the application of Mandarin in life, the characteristics of northeast dialect, the differences between the Mandarin and northeast dialect, and the pronunciation methods and skills of Mandarin. When talking about the characteristics of northeast dialect, the keynote speaker Zhang Yihui used PPT to show pictures of unique vocabulary of northeast dialect, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fierce. The propaganda activity was affirmed and appreciated by the participants.
On August 5, the opening ceremony of Xinhuo practice team push summer camp was successfully held online. The practice team fully considered the limitations of the network for the development of activities, such as the activity links with strong interaction were difficult to be presented online, and then developed a backup scheme for the limitations. Through multi-party coordination, the spark practice team gathered students from Heilongjiang, Zhejiang and Xinjiang who were originally scheduled to participate in offline popularization activities and selected an appropriate time to carry out online activities.
First, Captain Zhang Yihui counted the number of participants and finally determined that there were two primary school students from Heilongjiang and Zhejiang, five primary school students from Xinjiang and three members of Xinghuo practice team，who took part in this activity. After the opening ceremony, the children in the three places introduced themselves in dialect and Mandarin. Lin Anqi from Zhejiang mentioned that she mostly used Wenzhou dialect in her daily communication. Because there was no good Mandarin communication environment, she used Mandarin less frequently and didn’t master Mandarin well. Guligenai from Xinjiang said with a smile that she liked making friends, and Mandarin was the best bridge to communicate with friends from all over the world.
Then, a team member Qi Rui introduced the activities of the summer camp. The summer camp activities adopted the form of article teaching and combine teaching with fun. Students could choose their favorite articles for Mandarin related learning, and spark practice team members would arrange teaching according to students' hobbies. The practice team also played the encouragement video recorded by Chen Bei of the College of Arts for the children in advance. She said that due to the distance and epidemic situation, teachers could not go to the scene to meet them. However, she believed the teachers around them would become good friends with them and lead them to feel the charm of Mandarin! At the same time, she also inspired the students present, hoping that they could make more gains through their own efforts.
Finally, host Qi Rui made a concluding speech and announced the successful conclusion of the opening ceremony. Fu Jiahang from Heilongjiang said that the dialects spoken by many partners just now were incomprehensible, which might reflect the importance of learning Mandarin.He hope he could learn Mandarin well and meet more interesting and good friends!
