On July 22, the closing ceremony of the summer camp "Hope Home" of the Party Members' National Condition study and practice team of the College of Physical Science and Technology of CCNU was successfully held in Yijiadi Village Committee of Liushanhu Town, Chibi City. Gao Yuqian, practice team instructor, all the practice team members and all the summer camp students participated in the ceremony, which was presided over by Long Hongyue, leader of the teaching group. The "Home of Hope" summer camp in Liushanhu Town lasts for 7 days, with 49 classes in total, including ideological and political science, poetry, science, music, art and other aspects.
At the ceremony, all the summer camp students demonstrated their learning achievements, including ballet, sign language song "Look up at the Sky", ocarina performance and handmade works. When the students sang "I believe there is a pair of hands, gently lead me to your front", Xu Qiuyi, one of the students, shed tears. She said, “thanks to the teachers for the seven-day teaching and companionship. I will be admitted to an excellent university in the future, also join the rural volunteer teaching.
Awards were also given to students who performed well. From the perspective of moral character, discipline, learning ability and other aspects, a total of 6 awards were set, namely "classroom pioneer", "courtesy safflower", "virtue model", "discipline model", "Outstanding class leader" and "knowledge sniper". Twenty-one students won awards in total.
Gao Yuqian, instructor of the practice team, encouraged the students to study hard and believe that knowledge can change their fate. She hoped that the students would be grateful and remember the growth that summer camp brought to them.
The practice team members sent messages to the students in turn. Yuan Quan, a member of the practice team, shared his experience. He said that when he was a child, he also received the help of college students in holidays, which made him determined to enter an ideal university. Finally, he said to the students, "The day after day without any waves will eventually show you the meaning of persistence." Chen Xuan-cheng, a member of the team, led students to review his three lessons. First of all, he hoped that the students could understand first aid knowledge, cherish life, and save themselves and others at the critical moment. In the second class, he hoped his students would learn from Su Shi and became an open-minded, magnanimous and generous person. Finally, he led the students to review the knowledge of The Chinese Young Pioneers, hoping that the students could be sincere, brave, united and lively, and become teenagers with ideals and responsibilities in the new era.
