In the summer of 2021, there was an epidemic in some parts of China, and the situation of epidemic prevention and control was more severe. The university comprehensively strengthened the measures of epidemic prevention and control, and the School of Information Management was always concerned about the 172 students who stayed in school. On August 16, 2021, Wang Yulu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Information Management, Li Yuhai, Dean and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Wang Tao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Lu Xinyuan, Vice President of the School, and Li Jing, Jiang Keming, and Lu Wang, counselors of undergraduate and graduate students, visited the dormitories of the students staying in the school and observed the living conditions of students staying in the school, bringing warmth and care to students.
At about 3:00 p.m., the college leaders and teachers came to the South Lake 2, South Lake 5, South Lake 8, South Lake 12 and other student dormitories to pay a visit. As soon as the teachers entered, the students greeted the teachers warmly and familiarly to welcome them. The leaders and teachers gathered around with the students, looked around the dormitory environment, chatted with the students about the recent accommodation situation, life security of staying in school, future planning, etc., and kindly inquired about the needs of the students and the situation related to their hometown. The students answered the teachers' questions and expressed their gratitude to the leaders and teachers for the warmth and security of their lives in the CCNU Information Management family.
"Recently, there is a new round of epidemic in China, which is generally controllable at present, but everyone must pay attention to safety and must not take it lightly, the school and the college are always concerned about everyone", Secretary Wang Yulu kindly exhorted. Dean Li Yuhai said: "The school has taken strict measures to prevent and control the epidemic, which has caused some inconvenience to everyone's life, but this is also for the sake of everyone's safety, I believe that you students can also understand, and I would like to thank students for your active cooperation on behalf of the college". The students expressed their understanding and support for the school's epidemic prevention and control policy, and will strictly follow all the prevention and control measures, not causing any troubles to the school.
Finally, the college leaders and teachers presented the students with sympathy materials, including disinfectant, masks, milk, soap, toilet paper and other items, and wished everyone a full and happy remaining summer vacation and good health.
