CCNU Online (Correspondent Shifan) Currently, the winner list of the 3rd “Chinese Chanting”the Final Competition of the Classic Chanting in the Hubei Province was announced, and all the participants of our school have obtained the prizes. The work “Radish”got the first place in the teachers’ group and the so the work in the overseas students’ group “The Remembrance of the Jingchu Culture ”, meanwhile, “Writing”as well as “Hero”also stood out in the students’ group and gained the first and the second prize, besides, the CCNU was offered the prize “Great Organization”. Now, these four have been admitted to join the national competition with the recommendation of Hubei Language Philology Committee and Hubei Education Department.
In early May, the contest of chanting, reciting and writing, which was initiated by College of Teachers Education and arranged by CCNU Language Philology Committee, was held in divers schools, containing School of Information and Journalism, College of International Cultural Exchange, School of Chinese Language and Literature, School of History and Culture, College Urban and Environmental Science and ect. Eventually, 4 overseas students, 12 students as well as a teacher were selected as the candidates. Then in the July, having experienced weeks of practice, design and editing, 4 chanting videos and 5 writing works were submitted to sponsor of the Final Competition of the Classic Chanting in the Hubei Province.
Besides, the graduate students of CCNU, Yang Miaoyu and Qu Yanyue, meanwhile, 5 undergraduate students, including Zhou Yuting, Li Mengjie and Qiao Liyu, have pass the preliminary contest of language philology and common sense of calligraphy as well as the estimation of the works, which means they have got the admission of the national competition.
The Chinese Classic Chanting Competition, which was held by National Education Department and National Language Philology Committee, aims to implement “The Idea of Carry Out the Fine Traditional Chinese Culture and Its Inheritance Work”, reinforce the spirit of Language Philology Conference, simultaneously, conduct the Chinese Classic Chanting Project. This contest adheres to its connotation of demonstrating the fine Chinese traditional culture, illustrating the beauty of Chinese and carrying forward Chinese spirit. It insists to provide an access to the Chinese classic to the public especially to the teenagers, improve the language using ability, cultivate the patriotism and contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
