The Voice of CCNU In order to strengthen family school communication and promote family school co-education, four grades of undergraduate students at College of Urban and Environmental Sciences hold online parent meetings themed on "freshmen adaptation", "career planning", "development and advancement", and "graduation and employment" before the start of school, introducing various educational work carried out by the school and the college, allowing parents to understand the basic situation of students at school, further improving the synergy between family and school, and helping students develop comprehensively and healthily.
On the evening of September 2nd, the Grade 2023 New Student Parent Meeting was successfully held online. Ao Rongjun, the dean of College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, delivered a speech, congratulating and welcoming the arrival of the new students on behalf of the college, and introducing the talent cultivation work of the college; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Rao Yanping introduced the relevant situation of student management in the college. Counselor Liu Xinxing explained the welcome arrangements and check-in process. All parents watched the home school joint education special lecture "Parents Come to Help, Grow Healthier".
On the evening of August 31st, the meeting themed on "New School Year, Are You Ready?" was successfully held online. Counselor Lu Wen reviewed the adaptability education for freshmen carried out in the freshman academic year, provided a detailed introduction to the career support work carried out in different classes and majors, and made several suggestions for parents. Subsequently, a work report on grade cadres was conducted, and the vast majority of parents watched their presentation.
On the evening of September 1st, the Grade 2021 organization held an online parent meeting with the theme of "Hello, Junior", with the participation of class teachers from all classes. Counselor Wang Manyu explained the importance of third grade to parents, and introduced the school year situation, start of schoolwork arrangements, and future work plans. At the meeting, the campus life video "Our Chinese Teacher Life" produced by the grade promotion department was also played, allowing parents to have a visual understanding of their students' school status.
On the evening of September 3rd, the Grade 2020 held an online parent meeting for all students. Rao Yanping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, focused on graduation and employment work, and had full communication with parents on matters such as "safety precautions, psychological care, and strengthening communication".
