At the beginning of this term, the nine classes of College of Urban and Environmental Sciences all held the theme class meeting on growth planning of “General Secretary Xi Jinping is together with college students”－ ”Growth Footprint, Dreams Set Sails”. Each student shared their growth and insights during their freshman year, and planned and envisioned the new semester. The teacher in charge of the class provided guidance for students’ learning and development, and put forward some requirements and expectations for the new semester.
Class 2201
On the morning of September 9th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2201 was successfully held in Conference Room 116 of the college building. Students shared their growth experiences and thoughts in the last semester actively. Yuan Xuyin, the teacher in charge of class 2201, highly affirmed students’ performance during last year, and encouraged students to keep the good style of study and the team spirit to reach academic heights and bring credit to the college.
Class 2202
On the evening of September 9th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2202 was successfully held in Conference Room 116 of the college building. Students successively made academic year summary, sharing their experiences on study, student work and volunteer service. Nie Jianghan, the teacher in charge of class 2202, expressed appreciation for the students’ ability to balance their studies with their interests, student work, and practical activities. He hoped that the students could continue to work hard in the new academic year, and move towards the semester goals they had set, and improve their overall quality to the next level.
Class 2203
On the morning of September 10th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2203 was held. Students successively reported what they have gained in study and life during their freshman year.Wu Tieniu, the teacher in charge of class 2203, affirmed students’ performance in last academic year, and hoped students to continue to improve their normal university students skills, and encouraged students to try the innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students. He also advised students to do more outdoor exploration in a safe situation to learn geography and grow talents through practice.
Class 2204
On the afternoon of September 9th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2204 was held in Conference Room 116 of the college building. After all students had reported their performance in last academic year, Yu Lei, the teacher in charge of class 2204, was greatly gratified. He affirmed the students’ quick adaptation to university studies and life, and hoped students to continue to maintain their passion for professional learning and the courage to overcome difficulties. He also encouraged students to actively participate in volunteer education, volunteer service, and student work to continue to grow and improve.
Class 2205
On the evening of September 9th, class 2205 held the first class meeting of the new semester in the 701 conference room of the college. Students successively made their academic year summary, and reviewed their growth and harvest in last academic year, and talked about their expectations and plans for next academic year. Shen Dingtao, the teacher in charge of class 2205, highly affirmed students’ colorful life in freshman year. He praised students for not only being diligent in their studies, but also being able to step out of the classroom, enter society, and participate in various extracurricular activities. He hoped that students could keep good style of study and life, bravely present and express themselves, make better progress in the new academic year.
Class 2206
On the evening of September 8th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2206 was held in Conference Room 403 of College of Urban and Environmental Sciences. Students presented the academic year summary one by one, reviewing their learning, work, and life situation in last academic year, and made some expectations for the new semester. Xia Tian, the teacher in charge of class 2206, welcomed the new classmates, and hoped that they can get familiar with others as soon as possible, build the class and learn happily and make progress together, and make themselves better.
Class 2207
On the afternoon of September 10th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2207 was held in Conference Room 403 of the college building. Students presented their academic year summary one by one. Cui Jiaxing, the teacher in charge of class 2207, encouraged students to continue to explore and learn independently, actively participate in student work, develop extracurricular interests, and balance and allocate time. He also introduced the learning requirement of professional courses of human geography and urban and rural planning major to students in order to guide students on how to better adapt to the study of humanistic geography.
Class 2208
On the evening of September 10th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2208 was held in Conference Room 402 of the college building. Each student went on stage to give a presentation on their thoughts, studies, and life during their freshman year. Tao Jianbin, the teacher in charge of class 2208, was impressed by what students said. He guided students to attach importance to studying professional courses and accumulating professional knowledge, to get help from teachers forwardly, to balance various activities with student work in order to make better progress.
Class 2209
On the evening of September 10th, the first class meeting in the new semester of class 2209 was held in Conference Room 402 of the college building. Students successively made the academic year summary. Fei Yuanhang, the teacher in charge of class 2209, affirmed the students’ willingness to step out of their comfort zone, grow themselves, and surpass themselves. She praised students for showcasing the uplifting spirit of the new generation of young people. She affirmed the various achievements of students in their freshman year and placed high hopes on their sophomore studies and life.
At the class meeting, students carefully considered and wrote down their wishes for the new semester, looking forward to the beautiful life in this academic year together.
