The Voice of CCNU To advance warm-hearted mental health education, enhance the effectiveness of counselors' mental health initiatives, and strengthen counselors' self-care capabilities, the 6th Counselor Salon of 2025 titled "Heart-to-Art Communication: Group Counseling for Counselors" was successfully held at the Party and Youth League Activity Room of the one-stop student community (East 18 Sub-center) at 14:00 on March 24, 2025. The event was co-organized by the Party Committee Student Affairs Office and the Mental Health Education Center of Central China Normal University (CCNU), with support from the Truth-Seeking Counselor Development Studio and the School of Life Sciences of CCNU. Ms. Xin Lu, a dedicated mental health educator from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, was invited as the keynote speaker.

Through interactive and engaging activities such as landscape sketching, music meditation, postcard creation, and postcard exchange, combined with case studies, Ms. Xin Lu shared insights on innovative approaches to mental health education using art therapy. The session fostered a lively atmosphere, with counselors actively participating in discussions and hands-on experiences. Attendees expressed profound gains from the event, noting fresh perspectives and inspiration for their mental health education work.

This Counselor Salon provided a valuable learning and exchange platform, offering practical examples of integrating "aesthetic education + mental health" into student support. It laid a solid foundation for safeguarding student well-being. Moving forward, similar events will continue to be organized to promote the sustained development of student mental health education initiatives.
