The Voice of CCNU-At 14:30 p.m. on May 9th, 2021, the 9th "Gold Medal Candidate" simulated recruitment competition was held in Nanhu Multi-functional Building by the College of Economics and Business Management. The competition was held in the form of leaderless group discussion. The representatives of excellent graduates from the College of Economics and Business Management served as the judges of the competition.

After the selection of the preliminary resume, 80 excellent students entered the second round of leaderless group discussion. Students of different majors were divided into six groups to compete. Each competition included three-minute topic review, one-minute personal statement, twenty-five-minute free discussion and three-minute summary statement. The seemingly simple time allocation virtually tested the students' abilities of leadership, organization, time allocation and control. The discussion focused on "the most important factors for a successful leader", " plan of department bonus distribution for library construction project" and "the six most important items one should bring when the plane crashed into the island". In the competition, the students discussed their own views. Some agreed with others' views, some criticized and put forward their own plans, the other optimized and integrated different opinions. They brought one climax and highlight after another for the twenty-five-minute free discussion. The atmosphere of the scene quickly warmed up. The students showed active thoughts, excellent ability of language expression and unique thinking angle, which made the sparks of thoughts constantly collided in the competition.

The judges also listened to the contestants and carefully recorded their advantages and disadvantages. At the end of each competition, the judges would make the penetrating and profound analysis according to the role in the group, on-site performance, speech and other aspects of the contestant. The judges also provided valuable suggestions for each contestant and answered the corresponding questions, so as to help students play more brilliant performance in the future interview.
After nearly three hours of the competition, the awards have been settled. Finally, Ma Wenting won the first prize, Zhou Shuangshuang, Yang Jie and Wu Sizheng won the second prize, and Chang Panpan, Liu Fang, Zhang Wenyi and Liu Zhancheng won the third prize.

Through the simulation of leaderless group discussion in the workplace, the competition made students feel the reality of job interview in advance and helped students to recognize their own position, accumulate job hunting experience and establish confidence for the future, which was of great practical significance. So far, the 9th "Gold Medal Candidate" simulated recruitment competition of the College of Economics and Business Management has come to a successful conclusion.
