The "Senior Students Talks" Sharing Session of the Outstanding Graduates of 2021 was Successfully Held

From May 29th to 30th, the excellent graduates' sharing session organized by the Student Union, Youth League Committee and Learning With Joy Space of Learning Development Center was successfully held in the 5301 classroom of School of Life Sciences and Tencent Conference. The sharing session of graduates was divided into four special sessions: postgraduate examination, postgraduate recommendation, study overseas, and employment. The special sessions of postgraduate examination and postgraduate recommendation were held at 14:00 on May 29 in 5301, and the special sessions of study overseas and employment were held at 20:30 on May 29 and 14:00 on May 30 in Tencent Conference.


In the special session of postgraduate examinations, Jin Hongyu from the class of 2017 in China-Australia class and Wei Shiqin from the class of 2016, a self-financed normal student shared their views on the time planning of examinations, the choice of online courses when preparing for political examinations, the preparations for English examinations and the questions that may be asked in the retest. In the special session of postgraduate recommendation, Xu Chang of the biochemistry class of 2017, Zhang Yuxuan of the China-Australia class, Huang Chen and Mi Yiqin the self-financed normal students all answered questions from the required professional ability, the required conditions of  postgraduate recommendation to CCNU, the qualification of postgraduate recommendation, the selection of postgraduate recommendation, to the writing of personal summary and invitation letter, and the notes of resume delivery and shared their experiences in their study life, especially in striving for the goal of postgraduate recommendation.




In the special session of study overseas, Peng Haoran from the class of 2017 of the China-Australia class shared his experience mainly on the orientation of schools and programs, work experience and internship experience, and the usefulness of internships, etc. Geng Kexin from the class of 2017 of the China-Australia class shared her experience on the introduction of universities and majors in the United States, required application materials, time planning for preparation, etc., and made some detailed suggestions on the content of the application materials.


In the special session of employment, Li Lingjing, a public-funded normal student of Class 2017, shared combining her experience in Liuzhou Senior High School on the summary of subject teaching internship and recruitment process, etc.  Chen Wenyu, a self-funded normal student of Class 2017, suggested following employment information, reserving knowledge and ability, accumulating teaching experience, paying attention to the writing and layout of resume, and shared her interview process. Finally, Wu Yueling, a self-financed normal student of Class 2017, mainly expounded from the issues of time arrangement, the process of applying for jobs and how to improve competitiveness. She also shared some experience of other students collected by herself.



The purpose of this sharing session is to let non-graduates better understand the current employment trends, policies on postgraduate examination and postgraduate recommendation, and information about studying abroad so that they can make efficient use of their college time, make reasonable future planning in advance, and improve their career planning ability and employment competitiveness.
