Online Message of CCNU On 27 May, the graduates of 2021 gathered in the Youming studio for the graduation photos. A fairly large amount of people have been present this event, including all the school leaderships, principals of every department, the professors as well as the instructors, and of because more than 7000 graduates. They participated this special ceremony together and recorded this precious moment with a graduation picture, which put an end for their vital 4-year’college lives.
Having been absorbed in the school song of CCNU, 4459 undergraduates and 3213 graduate students, who were in the T-shirts designed by their own schools, assembled as 2 huge circles separately, then the leaderships entered in and made photos with students. Except for the pictures for all, they could also be found in the group photos for each school or college. With the flags for schools fluttering, simultaneously, students cheering exhaustively, the whole scene climaxed with a warm-up game “Mexican Wave”.
It was not only one of the most unforgettable moments for the participants, but also a solemn ceremony of their lives. A graduate from School of Information Management, Song Feifei, said that: “ It was still the military training when all the people gathered in this playground, however, 4 years have gone before we meet here again. I am really grateful for this chance provided by our school, which would definitely leave me a deep expression for lifetime.”In the meantime, Yang Danchen from College of Economics & Business Management expressed her excite: “This activity seems to be more meaningful and memorable while you are aware that we still set in the background of the epidemic. And thanks for CCNU, without her cultivation and company, I probably haven’t made such a great progress in this 4 years.”
Wu Qifan, a graduate student from College of Urban and Environmental Science, demonstrated that the event for the graduation photos has become a culture or even a symbol of CCNU. “I am extremely proud for myself, for my college at the moment when we assemble in the field.”Besides, Yuan Peiming from School of Psychology conveyed her wishes and anticipation: “It is actually a really cozy activity at the time to say goodbye, which means the end for my school-days. I hope that CCNU continue to gain the achievement in the future and everyone would find who they are meant to be after the separation.”
This activity could be dated back to 2014, furthermore, it is also the forth time for the group photos of the graduate students. Last year, this event wasn’t held due to the epidemic. So it became the first time for graduation pictures since the eruption of that disease. Every participants would be offered with the printed photos as well as the electronic ones as souvenirs for their student ages.
