In an early summer day, when the scent of the blossoms and grasses filled the air, “Dynamic Youth Time”team building event as well as social event of 4 schools was been held successfully in the basketball court which is behind the center for table tennis and the badminton on 5 June. This activity was taken by the graduate student unions of School of Political Communication and School of Marxism of the CCNU as well as the graduate student unions of School of Political Communication of Wuhan University with the assistance of the graduate student unions of School of Software of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, School of Electric Engineering of Wuhan University of Technology, School of Chemistry of CCNU and Law School of CCNU. The participation was high during this event and the atmosphere there was active.
As its begin, the participants were divided into 5 parts according to the the bracelets they have chosen, whose colors contained red, orange, yellow, green and blue. There were 6 games included in this experience and the first one was named “50 cents and 1 yuan”. Men represented 50 cents and the ladies were for 1 yuan, then they stood in a circle. The players should found someone others to made a number demanded by the host. Afterwards, the teams failed would be out. The participants which went over 3 turns would be the winners. The second part is “iron chariot”, which required the students to make relays for 50 meters in “iron chariots”made by the banners.


When it came to the third part called “turning relays”, the participants were asked to work in groups of 6, then 4 of them delivered the string tied in their waist to other partners by turning, meanwhile, the other 2 should blow the balloons, after that these 2 put the balloons in the gaps of their waists in the posture of back to back to transformed the balloons to the certain places. As the whistle went, the players started to turning, in the meantime, made varied attempts to convey the balloons in safe ways. Afterwards, it was the game “guess something”, in which part the students made different posts in order to indicate something that was given by the opponents, then one of the members of the team had to guess the inferred things. All of the participants tried to think out the challenging question, simultaneously, spared no efforts to provide the right answers.



The next part was “wearing relays”, when the students queued in lines then the first of each group took off their coats and gave them to the next partners until the last ones put them on, the ones consumed less time would win. Eventually, they joined in the game “every little help”, which meant the players delivered the cups fulfilled with water by their mouths till the last person poured the left water in the cups to a container, the winners would be decided on the basis of the quantity of the left water. Through this game, the students learned each other deeply, at the same time, them were required to work in teams well in their cheering and laughing.


The events held by the sponsors gained high satisfaction of the participants. All of them not only relaxed themselves but also improved their abilities of arrangement and teamwork in the process of this activity. It offered a platform for communication to the students as well, which laid the foundation of the cooperation between these schools in the future.
