On the evening of September 17, the 13th National Marine knowledge competition was held in room 9301, building 9. The purpose of this competition is not only to select outstanding talents in the final of the school competition, but also to take the competition as an opportunity to transfer marine knowledge, publicize the idea of marine protection and spread the national marine strategy.
The preliminary competition was divided into three rounds, and the first round was "single choice question". Nearly 50 students from various colleges competed on the same stage and showed their style. There were 25 single choice questions on the spot. For each correct answer, 5 points would be added, and 5 points would be deducted for wrong answer or non answer. Among the 25 topics, there were many topics related to the popularization of knowledge such as Changlu salt farm, the largest salt farm in China as well as had interesting marine knowledge like in ancient times, fishing from spring to autumn was called fishing geese. In the interesting single choice questions, players entering a new round also appeared.
The second round was "multiple choice questions". There were 10 multiple-choice questions in this session. 10 points would be added for each correct answer, and 10 points would be deducted for wrong selection or non answer. From the causes of the tsunami, to the three treasures of sperm whales and the types of westerly drift, multiple-choice questions full of knowledge tests not only investigated the knowledge reserves of the on-site players, but also emphasized a comprehensive understanding of the ocean. In the tense and fast answers, the players with the top 20 scores entered the third round.
The intense third round "stand to the end" followed. There was a big difference between one question and another: players who answered wrong would stop the competition. Shan Yiting, the last player to advance to the final round, told reporters that at the beginning, the rules of the third round were an impact on her, but with the slow progress of the game, her mood became calmer and calmer, and she more and more able to show all her abilities.
So far, the preliminary competition of the 13th National Marine knowledge competition for college and middle school students, sponsored by the central China Normal University Committee of the Communist Youth League and hosted by the Committee of the College of urban and Environmental Sciences and the marine knowledge association (Student Organization), has been successfully to the end. The school final would be held at 19:00 on September 24 at Huaqing theater.
